About Us
Tiny’s Village was founded in 2018 and formally incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2020—but its purpose was clear from day one: to ensure that every young person has access to support services, no matter their background, their barriers, or their story.
Our Executive Director, Ishimine Caldwell, created Tiny’s Village out of a personal and professional commitment to serving transition-age youth (ages 18–24) who are too often overlooked or underserved. She envisioned a space where youth could be supported without judgment, without red tape, and without having to “prove” they deserve help.
We believe that services should be youth-friendly, low-barrier, and built with lived experience and empathy at the center. At Tiny’s Village, youth walk into an environment where:
-
Support is accessible—no long waits, no confusing processes.
-
Compassion is standardly youth is met with dignity and understanding.
-
Structure brings growth—we use accountability, consistency, and coaching to help youth succeed.
-
Honesty is key, we don’t make false promises or set unrealistic expectations.
-
Every young person has potential—and we walk alongside them as they work toward becoming the best version of themselves.

From street outreach to housing navigation, leadership development to mental health support, everything we do is built around meeting youth where they are—and helping them get where they want to go.
